Taiwan’s capital city, Taipei, is where the past meets the present.
It is a city that has been built for hundreds of years. There is so much history to be found in its streets.
The cityscape is also stunningly gorgeous. The buildings were often old and beautiful and always adorned with bright colors and decorations.
It’s an interesting juxtaposition of old and new that makes this city so unique—and it’s one that I was excited to explore!
I loved walking through Taipei’s neighbourhoods and feeling like I was experiencing something special every time I turned a corner.
In addition to being one of the most beautiful cities on earth, Taipei is also full of delicious food! There are many great restaurants and night markets throughout the city, making it easy for visitors to find something delicious at any time of day or night!
