Macao is known for its beautiful, glitzy casinos and resorts. But there’s so much more to this city than that.
Macao’s street scene is a great place to capture the real vibe of the city. You’ll find people walking around in traditional Chinese clothing, markets selling fish and produce, and street vendors selling snacks and drinks.
When I arrived in Macao, I was struck by how different it felt from anywhere else I’d been. The city is bright, colorful, and bustling with energy—and it’s not just the buildings full of life. The people here are always on the move, whether walking down the street or riding their bikes through traffic.
I wanted this project to capture all those aspects of Macao—the vibrancy, the diversity of its culture and architecture, and its uniquely fast-paced rhythm—so I took it around town as often as I could with my camera in tow.
If you ever get a chance to visit Macao Cityscape yourself, you’ll see what makes it so unique: it’s not just a beautiful place; it’s also an incredibly unique one!
