La Union, a province located in the north of the Philippines, is known for its beautiful beaches and surf spots. As a travel photographer, I had the opportunity to visit this picturesque destination and capture the natural beauty of its landscape.
One of my favorite spots in La Union was Urbiztondo Beach, also known as the “Surfing Capital of the North.” The waves here are perfect for beginners and experienced surfers.
Another must-visit spot in La Union is the San Juan Lighthouse, a historic lighthouse that offers a panoramic view of the coast. The lighthouse is located on a hill and is surrounded by lush greenery, making it an excellent spot for photography. I captured some beautiful shots of the lighthouse against the clear blue sky and the stunning views of the coast below.
La Union is also home to many bars and restaurants open late into the night. There’s something for everyone here: you can spend your mornings exploring nature while your evenings relaxing at one of the many beachfront resorts. The mixture of natural beauty and urban culture makes for an unforgettable destination for photography enthusiasts.
